privacy versus security
Create a tree of expanded folders that represent personal data as collected over the past 15 years, by repeatedly storing back-ups of old hard-discs onto new hard-discs.
As the performance and size of data-storage media such as hard-discs roughly doubles every two years (Moore’s law)
Save this tree as an excel file,
print it with a matrix-printer/chain-paper,
record the sound of the printer while printing,
record automated voice (google translate) reading out the entire file,
create horizontal image scroll for on- and offline viewing,
combine with sound recordings,
exhibit in #FFF3.
